'Tanomadala Today' Will Now Lean More Towards Independent Journalism Rather Than Direct Control by the State
03/08/2026 - 1:00 (UTC+7)
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, or goodnight, dear comrades. Today I have some very exciting news to share with you all! As you may be able to tell, the website has been revamped quite a bit. Whilst updating everything and all that, I came to the realization that I have been writing every article in what we now title "Tanomadala Today," shocker, I know. But what does this mean? Well, it means that since I, the president, have been writing all media related to the nation, some of this media may be biased, intentionally or not. I don't really want that. I want our journalism to be independent, free from government bias, and cover recent events through the public eye more accurately and truthfully. Unfortunately, I worry that over time my statements and newsletters may become untruthful and lean more towards propaganda rather than proper journalism. So to solve this problem, I have decided to open Tanomadala Today to the general public (kinda). Now almost anyone may submit their own articles to be featured in Tanomadala Today under some conditions.
- Do not have any bias.
- Only speak of the truth.
- Have no intentions of spreading biased national or foreign media (especially propaganda).
- Articles must be something related to Tanomadala.
- Articles must not soley exist promote your own or other's work.
- Do not promote any of your own or someone else's work unless it is absolutley nessecary to the article.
If you think you're able to help us on our journey to honest journalism, apply directly to me by adding me on Discord (davelikesflags) or via the micronation's official Discord server! If you don't want to, send this article to someone who might wanna. Also! Note that article "Tanomadala Declines Offer to Hand Over the Nation to a New UAR, Leading to the Withdrawal of the ASU" and all articles before it are kind of outdated and I'm too lazy to update them so, sorry I guess. As always, stay tuned and stay proud, comrades!
